Ken Kessler Quality

Ken Kessler's quality bathroom furniture is handmade by a Danish family business. All components (except hinges and hangers) are made of solid oak wood. Made of 80-150 year old oak.

(Yet 150 years ago, people still rode horses. Carl Benz only built the world's first automobile (Benz Patent-Motorwagen) in 1885, but the wood from which your furniture is made of have began its life a few years prior to that day and was growing beautifully from 1875 or so.)

Ken Kessler furniture is made of wood. Pure wood, nothing else, no plastic, no wood chips, no veneer, juts wood, pure solid oak wood. How do you feel about that?

Hand made, unique product. The solid wood requires special care and treatment throughout the entire manufacturing process not to kill its uniqueness. And we give them all it needs for excel its exceptionally high quality and individuality.

The end product is top notch, state of the art, individual, unique product. One of a kind. Never been repeated. When you buy it you will get it, only you, nobody else can get that individual product made of an individual tree of its uniqueness. 

The tree grows for 80-150 years, encapsulates history in its woodrings and woodgrains, good weather, bad weather, wealth and poverty, happiness and pains, wars, tragedies, freedoms, all the things has happened for 80-150 years.(For the most beautiful woodgrains you have to wait that long time!)

That individual tree was breathing for a century and more. At the end of its life, we don’t let this history of life to disappear.

This is not a burial, but an exaltation and preservation. The preservation of everything that was beautiful and remarkable about it.

When we buy solid oak wood furniture, we buy history, uniqueness, which is ours from then on. We become rich through it. We will own a piece of European history. A sublime experience!

What we give you is a small jewelry box, completely finished. All you have to do is hang this piece of beauty like a painting on the wall, put it in its intended place, because this is not only a unique creation, but also a functional object that you can besides enjoy it every day, you can  use it, too.

Material:

European oak A++/A++ quality. Since the best quality, most beautiful grain wood comes from 80-150 year old (18-20 meter high) oak trees, and we prefer this quality. However, if a tree is cut down, we can wait a century or more until we have quality oak wood again. In other words, we can only make furniture for our great-grandchildren from the same place of production and lineage. Therefore, we ensure that as soon as a noble specimen is cut down, its successor is immediately planted. Our sixth descendant will appreciate our efforts, because he or she will also have furniture made of the finest materials.
